Almost Wordless Wednesday: Workin'!

The good folks at PetCareRX and DogWork.com are hosting a FaceBook contest that could mean free pet food for the winner and a charity called Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities.

The contest? The Dogs at Work FaceBook photo contest.

The only trouble is: I'm not really sure Lulu works at much. Or at least nothing I've been able to photograph well.

Here's some things I've considered:

She protects me from the cat.

She howls to let me know there are random things outside.

Test out the new cat bed. Haven't been told if it has the seal of approval yet.

She gets muddy so that I can give her a bath.

She warms up my spot on the bed.
She tells me when it's time to get off the computer.

So what do you think? What does Lulu work at well? And what does your dog work at? Go to FaceBook and let PetCareRX know!

PS: Only two days left in the Tampa Bay Time Photo Contest and Cappy the dachshund still only has 25 votes? Please, please, someone vote for him! You help raise money for literacy and education, and mom can win prizes! PLEASE go to Tampa Bay Times' website.
Also... if you have voted, please go back and make sure you actually distributed your individual votes. You have to do that. It tripped me up and it tripped up others. To do that, go here.

  2. Love the random howl! Do you think that as an on-going job I make sure Trina keeps the house tidy, such as no papers on the coffee table...I'll chew them, no cupboards open or I'll rearrange them, no leaving the garbage by the back door, or I'll check to see if you recycled. Wagging Wordless Wednesday!

  3. I believe Gizmo's main job is to bring joy to everyday life...a trip to the store is really a magical adventure. I bet Lulu does the same for you.

    1. No joke, I bought it for the cat on Black Friday, and Lulu has been sleeping in it ever since. She doesn't fit! It's hysterical. Good thing the cat had no interest before Lulu became the "tester."

  6. That Lulu is one busy pup...I'm worried that she may be a workaholic! Good luck!

  7. I can see that Lulu works very hard at her job. I entered the contest but didn't put any of me with my vest on but I think that the bed warmer is a very important job.

    1. Lol! Lulu makes it her business to respond to every noise outside. But it curiously makes me feel safer.

    1. Lulu as taken lately to trying to bang on the computer to get me to stop. She also has taken to pushing her hand into mine to make me pet her instead of type.

  12. Sounds like LuLu's job is to make you happy. I think that is what Maya & Pierson's job is. They also help me get exercise and keep me entertained (perhaps they can work as comedians).

    1. They are definitely great at making us happy. Or at least they are trying. They want us to be happy with them.

  13. Lol, she looks like she's very good at what she does. Shiner makes a good vacuum cleaner when the baby drops food.

  16. Hilarious! Our dogs protect us from random teenagers. I wish. And they herd the cat. And get pecked by the duck.

Huh. I guess my dogs don't work either.
