You can scan the barcode on any product and it will tell you about the company and whether they test on animals. The app costs a few dollars but it is made by one of my favorite rescues and it is totally worth it! I highly recommend it! If you check out the beagle freedom project you will love them too :). Also, if you want to look up a type of product like shampoo, you can browse on their by product type and it will give you a whole list of companies.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16742973155897320615noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7009262638280150202.post-66349899515700402792014-06-25T02:06:59.409-04:002014-06-25T02:06:59.409-04:00Is Target's brand Up & Up cruelty free? It's about being socially conscious and humane. I'm sick of the cruel and unusual treatment these animals endure. You had some really good info, but I wanted to let you know about a few things I've found, just in case you didn't know :) While Toms of Maine does not test on animals, their parent company Colgate-Palmolive still does. The company is working towards change, but they are still not cruelty-free. In addition, Burt's Bees' parent company, Clorox, also test on animals.
