Chicken's the treat for summer: Spot Farms Review and Giveaway

This post is sponsored by Spot Farms, however we here at Life With Beagle share information we only feel is relevant to our readers. Spot Farms is not responsible for the content of this article.

First off, we want to congratulate Donna Kozar, winner of  Jones Natural Chews Giveaway! You'll be contacted shortly with info to retrieve your prize!

It's summer time and your dogs are eyeing your grilled chicken.

So what about getting your dog some chicken of their own?

Spot Farms dog treats review and giveaway. Try the chicken!

Lulu's been a fan of Spot Farms for almost a year now. We first tried it at Barkworld. Then at Global Pet Expo. Then at BlogPaws. Each time, Lulu practically wanted to tear the booth down to get the treats!

I have no photographic evidence of this apparently (bad blogger, bad!), but it's true. It's also true of a lot of other doggies who have tried Spot Farms. Just ask Carma Poodale. Head to her website. She adores these treats.

What are they?

Spot Farms chicken treats for dogs.
Spot Farms makes chicken and turkey treats. The chicken is made in the USA, grown at local farms. The locations are marked on the packages. Carma Poodale and her mom even know where some of the farms in Kentucky are! The treats are then made in small batches in their kitchens.

Spot Farms is a family owned company too, Arthur Pet Products.

Some of the treats are classic chicken jerky. They have a "functional line" that includes chicken treats with ingredients like chamomile for "Serenity," of Glucosamine and Turmeric for "Hip+Joint." They also have treats like Chicken Apple Sausage or Turkey Meatballs with Cranberries.

What are the rest of the ingredients?

Well for the Natural Cut Chicken Jerky, these are the ingredients:

Chicken Breast, Dried Cane Molasses, Vinegar, Sea Salt, Flaxseed, Alpha Tocopheral, Rosemary Extract

That's it.

You can find Spot Farms  products at the major pet food stores: PetSmart, Petco, Pet Supermarket or Pet Supplies Plus. You can also get it at Amazon.com, Wag.com and other retailers.

Dogs that can't eat poultry like Jasmine, try Spot Farms' sister company Full Moon. They have bacon and pork treats using REAL BACON.

  3. I have Coonhounds. They'll eat ANYTHING. My senior girl, Suki, has tried (more than once) to grab my cell phone from my hand, thinking I had food. While they will want anything anyone is eating, things with meat or cheese do get their attention the most.

  4. My Toby likes to steal cheese off my pizza. That's really the only human food she likes. She's so picky.
